Sourcing

Six corridors, quarterly trips, one quality bar.

The Atlas operates six sourcing corridors. All material flows through our US studio before reaching customers. Trade relationships built over twenty years across Asia, Brazil, and East Africa account for roughly 60% of inventory; the rest comes through trips, shows, and broker networks we've verified in person.

Quality at intake

Every parcel sees the studio before listing.

  1. Sample shipped or carried back from origin. No remote-purchase parcels go straight to the customer.
  2. Hand-graded at the studio. Sira sorts every intake parcel piece by piece.
  3. Lab verification on natural-claim material. Parcels marketed as untreated are spot-checked through GIA Carlsbad (USA) or partner labs at origin.
  4. Photographed before listing. Recent batches archived as the "What you'll receive" reference on every parcel SKU.
  5. Customer return rate monitored monthly. Underperforming consignment partners cut without sentiment.
